After having them swatched side by side, I just realized that this is actually a dupe for Mac “Please Me”. Whenever I want to look girly or cute, I always grab this baby. This is a baby pink that is just so cute and pretty. They feel are so light-weight and comfortable on the lips 4. This brown nude has just enough brown and nude in it. You guys know how much I love Soft Matte Lip Creams so I don’t have anything special to say. The formula is fantastic! It’s so comfortable on the lips unlike some liquid lipsticks that are too drying or feel so heavy on the lips. Whenever I don’t know which lipstick to use, I would always grab this one. That’s a very strong statement but it’s true. If I can have only one lipstick from my collection for the rest of my life, it would be this one. Up until now, this is hands down my most used and favorite lip product. NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in Bedtime Flirt. When I don’t want to wear makeup but just a lipstick to look alive, I always use this. It’s like a pinky, rosy nude shade that compliments my skin tone. This actually has a matte finish but because I took a lot of product out, it is not drying to a matte finish. Occasionally, I would reach for some bright lipsticks from my stash but for the most part, I am a neutral girl and those are the shades that I gravitate towards. I mean, they’re only $7 a pop, so I really am not risking too much.As you can probably tell, I am a huge fan of nudes and pinks. Because I am now familiar with the product, I think I might be more adventurous and purchase shades out of my comfort zone. It only came off when eating a food that was relatively oily, but that was to be expected. Although NYX Lingerie is matte, it does not look cakey or dry. I find the formula very easy to work with. This vegan lipstick is available in a wide variety of highly pigmented nude lipstick colors. Matte liquid lipstick with longwear, no smudge formula.

Exotic is fabulous for the days I want a dramatic look. Slip into something seductive with NYX Professional Makeup Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick, a weightless longwear liquid lipstick with a plush matte finish. Bedtime flirt is almost identical to my natural lip color. This is definitely not a bright red undertone I would compare it more to “brick red”. Some of my personal favourites are Ruffle Trim, Push Up, Bedtime Flirt, Exotic and Seduction. Overall, I do really like these lipsticks, in particular the pigmentation and variety of shades. Quite the coincidence I settled for the only two red-toned shades in the line. I also feel like NYX have maybe changed the applicator or the formula in the newer shades as they seem to be less cakey on the applicator. According to NYX Bedtime Flirt is a “red toned pink”, and “Exotic” is a “warm mahogany red”. This is definitely not a bright red undertone I would compare it more to brick red. The lack of contrast always seemed to wash me out, or make my lips look smaller. I’ve always struggled a bit with lighter nudes because my lips are quite a dark pink for my skin tone. I’m a creature of comfort, what can I say. However, this would also be my first time testing a matte lipstick, so I stuck to shades I knew I would be satisfied with. Perhaps with the right pairing of other face makeup colors, I could’ve rocked them. As I am quite warm toned in skin color, I was a little bit sad that some of the colors just didn’t look right on me. I tested every shade on my arm (say no to germs). This collection has been sold out everywhere near me since its launch- Ulta, Target, Harmon’s Face Value… EVERYWHERE!!! I was beaming when I saw NYX Willowbrook had the whole set in stock. Most notably, I purchased 2 shades in the new NYX Lip Lingerie collection. Midweek afternoon visit = playtime!! This is my first time purchasing NYX, so I purchased a mini-haul of lippies.
I’m fascinated with colors and testing, so I waited for the “Grand Opening” crowd to settle. It is the first NYX store on the East Coast! Being an up and coming beauty blogger, obviously I felt the heat to pay a little visit. This week, I paid a visit to the NYX Willowbrook store.
